VIMS is one of the optional systems of Caterpilar company that is usually being installed on the heavy mining fleet from the factory. This systems has duties like collecting the recent information of sensors condition, operator and system error codes, etc to check the machine’s health (considerable to machinery managers). in addition, it is in charge of the tasks like register tonnage, number of services, movement speeds and etc (considerable to managers of mining operations). this company designed a hardware (VIMS Link) with reliance to knowledge of the day of Caterpilar machines that is being connected to the VIMS controller on each machine and sends the saved information to the server in the form of decoded and online (4G/ Wi-fi). Online observation of marine’s total situation in one persian panel is being provided by web- based software named “VIMS Connect” that is also being designed by software engineer’s team.
